Good stuff, but I think this would be a lot more powerful if you actually explained the implications of changing the rules as planned by the telcos. The core of your clip is this:The telecoms have spent millions of dollars lobbying congress to let them change the rules, so they can restrict access, charge more money, and change the net forever. That is true, but I don't believe anyone unaware of the net neutrality crisis will really grasp the issue after that — the threats to innovation at the edge, fair competition, freedom of choice, etc. Maybe you should at least point to all the places out there where people can read up on the issue.
Christian-Thanks for the post and the link to the Lessig blog. Your point is valid-there are alot of implications that need to be explained about this proposed change in approach to the net. I hope I can at gain a little mind-space for the issue with my short piece...and also hope people will jump in to delve deeper.Your link is a very good place to jump.
UnClassified PThanks for stopping by my site and thanks for your video. I will be going to Austin to see the film. Thanks for the heads up. You can call me "swim dip"...sorry about the mistake, I've fixed it. Peace, Swim
